I have recently started using the Cinnamon desktop on top of Mint Linux 12 and can say that I’m impressed and games seem to be running just as well, if not better on Cinnamon.

If you have anything to add to this game test, please feel free to comment. Do post your Wine Version, Linux Flavour and graphics card drivers = NVIDIA or ATI! Help each other out and be nice to one another :)

could you do some benchmarks somehow , please?
I don’t really have time to start doing benchmarks on different desktops with different games at the moment. The difference is noticeable when launching some games and moving windowed games… Cinnamon just seems more responsive. Also switching between desktops appears to work better when running some full-screen games.
