If you are running this version of Wine then it’s definitely time to update Portal 2 results (you marked it as broken).
With this version I finally can play more than 15 minutes without crash (you don’t have to patch Wine) also you don’t need any cracks. The only issue is that you have X cursor in game also problems when loading new sound. I’ve managed to get rid of it by setting UseGLSL to disabled so it’s probably not connected to sound really.
Anyway by the standards of AppDB it surely is a Golden rating for Portal 2 when using Wine 1.3.27.

You have updated status but it’s wrong. You don’t need any patches with Wine 1.3.27.
The bug “5-minute crash” has been resolved with this version:

It seems that people that posted test results with Wine 1.3.27 in AppDB aren’t aware of that.
